Private house in Angoulême
The architectural project of the private house located in Angoulême is a stunning example of how we restore and rejuvenate a historical building. The house was once a part of the historical castle, which was destroyed in the 18th century. The renovation project aimed to maintain the original character of the building while bringing it up to modern standards. The result is a beautiful combination of old and new, where ancient stone walls and vaulted ceilings are perfectly paired with contemporary design elements.
The renovation of the historical building was a delicate process, requiring careful attention to detail and respect for the original architecture. The restoration team carefully preserved the building's original features, including the exposed stone walls, wooden beams, and intricate stonework. The interior spaces were reimagined with modern sensibilities in mind, resulting in a beautiful fusion of the old and the new.
